TAKE NOTICE that the Township of North Bergen and the County of Hudson have contacted the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Green Acres Program, proposing to divert 1.25 acres of the James J. Braddock North Hudson County Park, Bergenline Avenue, North Bergen New Jersey 07047, Block 437.02 and Lot 1 to allow the North Bergen Board of Education’s North Bergen Pre-K Program to remain in its current location and .167 acres at 1814 43rd Street to to allow the North Bergen EMS South Unit to remain at that location.
Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 7:36-26.8(a) a scoping hearing to obtain public comment on this request will be held on Tuesday, August 11th, 2020 at 6 pm until close of public comment, but no later than 9:00pm.
All interested persons may attend and be heard at the aforesaid hearing. In accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq., and in consideration of Executive Order No. 103 issued by Governor Murphy on March 9, 2020 declaring a State of Emergency and a Public Health Emergency in the State of New Jersey, the Township of North Bergen does hereby notify the public that to protect the health, safety and welfare of its citizens while ensuring the continued functioning of government, this public hearing will be held electronically only and may be accessed through Zoom video meeting as follows:
