The Gateway Development Commission has announced that effective Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2024 pedestrian access along the east side of Tonnelle Avenue (northbound) will be changed to accommodate the next phase of construction. The new temporary route will include a pedestrian bridge adjacent to Tonnelle Avenue. Pedestrians should follow the signs and stay within the marked walkway at all times.

The sidewalk on the west side of Tonnelle Avenue (southbound) remains closed to pedestrians, with detour signage directing pedestrians to the east side of Tonnelle Avenue.

The speed limit for motorists remains 25 MPH for all northbound and southbound lanes in the construction zone.
