Vision

The intent of the North Bergen Arts Initiative is to create a thriving arts culture in North Bergen by uplifting local talent, expanding access to creative opportunities, and making the arts a visible, celebrated part of our town’s identity. There’s a tremendous wealth of creativity happening in our schools, organizations, and neighborhoods; this initiative is about building on that momentum and bringing people together to help the arts thrive and truly set us apart.

Mission

• Uplift Local Talent Recognize and support artists of all ages and disciplines — visual, musical, literary, and performing — by creating platforms for visibility and recognition.
• Expand Access Bring the arts into more spaces — parks, schools, libraries, community centers — so that creative opportunities are available to every resident.
• Build Cultural Identity Celebrate what makes North Bergen unique by encouraging shared artistic experiences that foster pride, belonging, and unity across neighborhoods.
