Municipal Court Offering Special Sessions to Address Parking Tickets
Now that the State of New Jersey has resumed enforcement of penalties for parking ticket violations, people with outstanding parking tickets less than three years old will be getting proposed suspension notices within the next few weeks. These notices will come from the state and will not look like the notices the court routinely mails out.
The Municipal Court of the Township of North Bergen will hold two special parking sessions per quarter to give residents an opportunity to address outstanding parking tickets. The sessions for this quarter will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 23 and Wednesday, Nov. 20.
Please make note of the effective suspension date on any notice sent to you and contact the court immediately to avoid the suspension.
In order to schedule a visit, please fill out the below online form. You can select a preferred time and the court will honor requests when possible and get back to you with a confirmation. You can also call 201-392-2088 to schedule a visit on one of the two special parking session dates.
Residents can also walk in between 4 and 7 p.m. on either of those dates without making an appointment.
