Join the North Bergen Free Public Library for an “Art Talk” with Janet Mandel. The focus of this segment will be the prolific American artist and illustrator Norman Rockwell, with a viewing of some of his most iconic paintings as well as some that may surprise you.

Rockwell produced more than 4,000 works that chronicle not only ordinary moments from everyday life but also important social and political issues. During his lifetime he was dismissed by many serious art critics, but this talk will examine why and how he has remained a beloved American original.

The presentation will take place on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. on Zoom.
