The North Bergen summer pool season is underway. The municipal pool is open Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with the training pool opening from 10 to 11 a.m. for senior citizen members (ages 62+). Starting Friday, Jun. 28 the pool will be open every day.

Register in person from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Recreation Center, 6300 Meadowview Avenue, or from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the downtown Recreation Center & Library, 1231 Kennedy Boulevard. You can also register from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday at the pool, 2111 91st street.

Registrants must bring two proofs of residency (current gas, electric, phone, or tax bill) and a birth certificate for all children. No IDs. Payment will be accepted by credit card, check, or money order. No cash.

Residents can register for either annual memberships or per diem passes. Full-time seasonal members can purchase passes to bring in non-member guests.
