Mayor Cuts Ribbon Welcoming Spring Garden Flower Shop to North Bergen
May 07, 2024There’s a beautiful new plant & flower shop at 2241 Kennedy Boulevard – just in time for Mother’s Day. Mayor Nicholas Sacco cut the ribbon on Friday, May 4 officially welcoming Spring Garden Flower Shop to the neighborhood.
Owners Manuel and Rocio Macias have filled the interior with a lovely spread of bouquets, flowers, and plants at affordable prices. Originally from Ecuador, they’ve been local residents since 1995 and Rocio picked up her green thumb doing flower arrangements and more at nearby churches over the past 17 years.
Noting the lack of a flower shop in the area, they decided to brighten up the neighborhood and brought their skills to a corner store in a prime location. In addition to flowers, they offer beautiful vases, balloons, chocolates, ribbons, teddy bears, and all other event accompaniments. Visit them for all your floral needs including birthdays, wedding, graduations, funerals, church and corporate events, etc.
Hours are Monday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Contact them at springgardneflowersllc@gmail.com or 551-529-4446.
Joining the mayor in welcoming Spring Garden to the township were Commissioner Hugo Cabrera, Assemblyman Julio Marenco, County Commissioner Robert Baselice, Police Chief Robert Farley, and other local representatives.
