Mayor Nicholas Sacco and the Township Commissioners cut the ribbon at the grand opening of the new North Bergen Police Department Downtown Substation on Wednesday, Apr. 17. The station is located on the second floor of the NB Rec & Library at 1231 Kennedy Boulevard and will be primarily staffed by EMT-trained police officer, Gisell Francisco. Residents are welcome to visit the precinct for seeking advice, reporting incidents, and filing complaints.

 

Operating Hours (beginning on Apr. 24):

Wednesday through Friday: 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Saturday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

 

The North Bergen Police Department’s main headquarters located at 4233 Kennedy Boulevard remain open 24/7.

 

The grand opening was attended by Mayor Nicholas Sacco, Commissioner of Public Safety Allen Pascual, Commissioners Hugo Cabrera, Anthony Vainieri, Chief of Police Robert Farley, Lieutenant Alex Barrios, County Commissioner Bob Baselice, Assemblyman Julio Marenco, and Former Assemblyman Pedro Mejia.
