Eligible North Bergen resident must submit their applications for ANCHOR tax relief before the deadline of Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2023 in order to receive tax rebates of up to $1,500.

The ANCHOR program provides direct property tax relief to NJ residents who owned or rented their principal residence (main home) on Oct. 1, 2019, and met certain income limits:

• Homeowners with income under $150,000 can receive a $1,500 rebate
• Homeowners with income between $150,000 and $250,000 can receive a $1,000 rebate
• Renters with income under $150,000 can receive a $450 payment
