Residents are invited to enjoy an entertaining night of Billy Joel songs at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 21 when Danny V’s 52nd Street Band set up shop in Waterfront Park alongside the Hudson River. Led by singer/pianist Dan Vehescky and featuring a gifted sax player, the band runs through the entire Billy Joel songbook from his earliest days to his most recent hits.

 

The event is presented by Mayor Nicholas Sacco and the North Bergen Board of Commissioners and Mayor Wayne Zitt and the Guttenberg Town Council. Waterfront Park, located at 7200 River Road, is jointly owned and operated by both municipalities, and hosts a terrific amphitheater facing the river with a stunning view of Manhattan at night. There are also expansive green lawns, picnic areas, and a great playground for kids.
