Mayor Nicholas Sacco was joined by Commissioners Hugo Cabrera and Allen Pascual to raise the Colombian flag over North Bergen Town Hall last week.
 
The presentation was in honor of the 211th anniversary of Colombia’s Independence Day on July 20.
 
Also participating in the event were Township Administrator Janet Castro, County Commissioner Anthony Vainieri, NHRFR Executive Director Michael DeOrio, representatives from the NBPD and numerous township employees and residents.
