Governor Closes All State & County Parks Including Braddock Park
April 07, 2020To further social distancing, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy signed an executive order on April 7, 2020 closing all county and state parks and all forests.
Mayor Nicholas Sacco confirmed that Braddock Park is now closed. Officially known as James. J. Braddock North Hudson Park, it is a county park.
“We’ve seen far too many instances in our parks where people are gathering and socializing in groups,” wrote the governor on his Facebook page. “We need to #FlattenTheCurve.”
