Can’t decide whether to attend the flea market or the farmers market in Braddock Park? Why not do both? This weekend only, both markets will take place simultaneously from 9 to 5 on Sunday, Aug. 19, 2018 with live music to add to the festivities.

Browse through the antiques and treasures, then saunter over a few steps to grab yourself a healthy snack and take home some locally-sourced vegetables. Braddock Park has it all this weekend, centered around the Veterans Memorial near 90th Street and Bergenline Avenue.

The flea market originally scheduled for Aug. 4 was rained out, so it was moved to this new date, with more than 60 vendors expected to attend. Shoppers can find collectibles, trinkets, and household items for as low at $1 each, along with quality merchandise such as handbags, crafts, sports memorabilia, clothing, jewelry, gift items, perfumes, dollar items, antiques, etc.

And to make the day even more special, the farmers market hours were extended to match the flea market hours of 9 to 5. Fresh locally-sourced produce is the centerpiece of the market, but much more is available, with a rotating lineup of vendors offering everything from hot food to desserts to craft gift items. Each visit features something new and exciting.

NB C.A.R.E.S. will also be onsite collecting school supplies for families in need. Make sure to check out their table to make a donation.

So come on down and spend your Saturday in the park enjoying bargains, great food, and more. Admission is free to the public.
