North Bergen’s senior citizens enjoyed a delightful concert by the Lincoln School chorus at their holiday party on Thursday, Dec. 14 at the Nutrition Center. Mayor Nicholas Sacco warmly welcomed everyone, alongside Commissioner Hugo Cabrera, Freeholder Anthony Vainieri, and other township officials and administrators – as well as Santa and Mrs. Claus.

The concert concluded with a short set by Nurys Capello, who was enthusiastically joined by the kids in singing the chorus.

Afterward the seniors were treated to a hearty meal, and then it was raffle time, with gifts including a $50 certificate from La Roca Supermarket, two elaborate food baskets, and a selection of treats donated by James Cruz and Rise & Shine Adult Daycare Center.

The seniors were bused back and forth to the event by North Bergen Transportation.
