The North Bergen Police Department has posted a detailed annual report for 2026 listing comparative crime statistics for the past few years along with information on prominent cases, officers of the month, and much more.

 

Among the notable statistics, major crime decreased 18% in 2025 and overall crime was down 6%, while the department answered more than 127,000 calls for service.

 

The 46-page report includes information on community programs and outreach, department initiatives, goals, budgets, photos, org charts, demographics, and other important data.

 

The report is posted on the police department website at www.northbergenpolice.com under the “reports” link at the top of the page.

 

Police Chief Robert Farley presented the report to the mayor and commissioners at a commission meeting on Wednesday, May 20.
