The residents of Lawler Towers celebrated the 59th anniversary of the building with Mayor Nicholas Sacco, Commissioners Hugo Cabrera, Anthony Vainieri, and Claudia Rodriguez, along with County Commissioner Robert Baselice.

It was a grand gathering, with more than 100 people attending, all excited for a night of delightful food, music, and dancing. Attendees enjoyed a delicious spread of Spanish rice, pernil, chicken, sausage, pasta, and more.

The event also included a raffle for dozens of great gifts, plus a live DJ that gave the opportunity for seniors to hit the dance floor. The event was spearheaded by Housing Authority Executive Director Julio Marenco, Building Manager Doreen Martinez, Assistant Manager Ester Cordero, and their dedicated staff.
