The North Bergen Free Public Library invites residents to a special screening of the proof-of-concept pilot episode of the award-winning drama “West of the City: La Cafeteria,” followed by a Q&A with North Bergen resident and filmmaker Arian Blanco.

 

“West of the City: La Cafeteria” is a bilingual, suspense-filled story set in a working-class Latin immigrant community, exploring themes of justice, redemption, family, and friendship as four childhood friends are tied together by a life-altering secret.

 

This event will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6 at the 81st Street Library, 510 81st Street.
