Mayor Nicholas Sacco and Public Works Commissioner Anthony Vainieri announce upcoming roadway improvements or Granton Avenue.

Beginning on or about Monday, Apr. 6, 2026 improvements will be performed on behalf of the Township of North Bergen. The scope of work will include concrete curb replacement, sidewalk replacement, ADA-compliant handicap ramp upgrades, and drainage system improvements.

Work is anticipated to take place Monday through Friday between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.

During certain phases of construction, including milling and paving operations, on-street parking will be prohibited, and vehicle access to and from the area may be temporarily limited.
