The North Bergen Recreation Center & Library is offering a six-week course to prepare participants for working in the food industry. The course takes place from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays between Sep. 24 and Oct. 29.

 

This course is open to all NJ residents ages 18+. Attendance is mandatory. High school diploma/GED is required. Preference given to students who are low-income, unemployed, SNAP/TANF eligible, single parents, disabled, or English-language learners.

 

Registration is required at www.NBPL.org. The Rec Center & Library is located at 1231 Kennedy Boulevard. Free parking is available in the garage; entrance on 13th Street.
