Summer Fun Season Ends with a Carnival at the Rec Center for Special Needs Kids
August 01, 2025The field outside the North Bergen Recreation Center hosted a colorful carnival on Thursday, Jul. 31, 2025 marking the end of the Township’s Summer Fun season for special needs kids.
There was face-painting, a waterslide, bounce house, games, and more, along with a tasty lunch of pizza, chicken fingers, mac & cheese, hot dogs, fries, dessert, and drinks, plus popcorn and other treats.
Commissioners Hugo Cabrera, Allen Pascual, and Claudia Rodriguez all stopped by to greet the kids on the second-to-last day of the 2025 summer program.
