Heat Got you Down? Cool Off at the North Bergen Pool!
July 17, 2025With temperatures in the 90s and expected to feel even hotter, now is prime time to climb into a swimsuit and take a dip in the North Bergen municipal pool. Residents can enjoy the main pool, the lap pool, the kiddie pool, spray park, and sports courts. The snack bar is open, skilled lifeguards on duty, and there’s plenty of room to swim or just stretch out and relax.
The pool is open every day from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with the training pool open from 10 to 11 a.m. for senior citizen members (ages 62+).
Residents can register for either annual memberships or per diem passes. Full-time seasonal members can purchase passes to bring in non-member guests.
Register in person from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Recreation Center, 6300 Meadowview Avenue, or from 2 to 9 p.m. at the downtown Recreation Center & Library, 1231 Kennedy Boulevard. You can also register from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at Tonw Hall, 4233 Kennedy Boulevard, or at the pool, 2111 91st street.
