The stands at Bruin Stadium were filled with proud families and cheering supporters on Friday, June 27, 2025 as the Class of 2025 gathered on the field to celebrate their graduation from North Bergen High School.

Mayor Nicholas Sacco delivered words of encouragement and shared advice from his own academic journey. He was joined by NBHS Principal Richard Locricchio and Schools Superintendent Dr. George Solter, who also offered heartfelt messages to the graduates. Commissioners Allen Pascual, Claudia Rodriguez, Anthony Vainieri, and Hugo Cabrera were in attendance to congratulate the class on their achievement.

This year’s valedictorian was Jeremiah Flores and salutatorian was Benjamin Diaz. Elianny Galvez and Paulo Pena served as emcees, while Deliza Evangelista led the salute to the flag. The advanced chorus performed the National Anthem, and Mohamed Abdullah of the North Hudson Islamic Education Center gave the invocation.

Diplomas were awarded and flowers presented before Father Yuvan Alvarez of Our Lady of Fatima Church offered the benediction. The ceremony concluded with the traditional tossing of caps into the air, followed by joyful reunions and celebrations throughout the park.
