North Bergen has a new business offering physical therapy and sports medicine. Commissioners Anthony Vainieri and Claudia Rodriguez and Assemblyman Julio Marenco cut the ribbon officially opening Tru Physical Therapy on Wednesday, Jun. 4.

 

Located at 7309 Broadway, Tru is owned by Dr. Hussein Jaafar, who was raised in North Bergen. Co-owner of Liv Clinic in Clifton, he wanted to bring his business back to his roots and serve the local community. The site previously housed a dance studio and has been completely renovated for its new purpose, with a large open space, private rooms, and an outdoor area.

 

Equipment includes treadmills, stationary bikes, ultrasound, TENS, heat units, compression boots, and much more, providing physical therapy, occupational therapy, and acupuncture for all ages from toddlers to seniors.
