The Township of North Bergen, in collaboration with the North Bergen Department of Health, the North Bergen Prevention Coalition, and the Tobacco-Free for a Healthy NJ Center for Prevention & Counseling, hosted an informational seminar on Thursday, April 24, 2025 in the Municipal Chambers on the new tobacco ordinance regulating tobacco and nicotine-delivery products in the Township of North Bergen.

This ordinance was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on December 18, 2024. A copy of the ordinance is available at the Township Clerk’s office during regular office hours (Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.). The ordinance is set to take effect on June 1, 2025.
