Spend an evening watching some of the most famous scenes in opera at the North Bergen Free Public Library’s “Mad Scenes in Opera” event. The mad scene first appeared in opera seria in the seventeenth century. This event will take a look at the evolution of the mad scene and how its influence has shaped Broadway musicals.

 

Join this special event on Thursday, May 22 at 6:30 p.m. at the North Bergen Recreation Center & Library located 1231 Kennedy Boulevard.
