As part of the township’s participation in the 2025 Earth Day celebration in Braddock Park, the North Bergen High School Environmental Club spread out throughout the park to collect trash, helping to beautify the surroundings and enhance the environment.

 

Students from High Tech High School also pitched in as they worked in teams to collect carelessly discarded garbage from across the green lawns and around the lake.

 

Under the direction of NBHS science teacher and Environmental Coordinator Dana Lau Hojnowski and County Commissioner Robert Baselice, the students spent hours cleaning up the park.
