January 24, 2025

Representatives from North Bergen’s prestigious Olyaa Gallery attended the township’s commission meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025 to present the mayor and commissioners with an original artwork by internationally renowned artist Young Sup Han. Mayor Nicholas Sacco expressed great appreciation from the township and acknowledged the prestige and elegance the gallery brings to the community.

He has showcased in 22 solo exhibitions in Korea and 8 abroad, participating in 400 group exhibitions in Korea and 80 internationally, including the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum’s “Only the Young: Experimental Art in Korea, 1960s–1970s.”

His artwork “Forest,” presented to the township by gallery owners Esther and Annie Kim, will be proudly displayed in North Bergen Town Hall, 4233 Kennedy Blvd.
