Due to the holidays, there will be no recycling collection on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2024 or on New Year’s Day, Jan. 1, 2025. If you are scheduled for those days, your pickups will take place on Saturday, Dec. 28 and on Saturday, Jan. 4. Pickups on all other days remain as scheduled.

Garbage will be picked up according to the regular schedule.

Street sweeping will take place as usual but ticketing enforcement is currently suspended and will resume its regular schedule on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025.

Residential parking enforcement will be suspended starting 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2024 and will resume at 7 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025.

To support our local vendors, free three-hour metered parking is available through Jan. 1. Regular metered parking enforcement will resume on Jan. 2, 2025.

North Bergen Town Hall will close for the holidays at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 24 and will reopen as usual on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2024.
