The Terrace Apartment Building at 6800 Columbia Avenue hosted a “Friendsgiving” event on Monday, Nov. 18 that was highlighted by NBPD officers sharing “Coffee with a Cop.” Police Chief Robert Farley met with residents, along with half a dozen other officers, who helped serve celebratory cake to the many attendees from Terrace and the nearby Meadow Hill Apartments.

 

Meanwhile, Michael Armeno serenaded the crowd with a wide selection of songs ranging from Motown to Sinatra to Celine Dion. First responders from the fire department were also on hand, giving out plastic fire hats, while Diane Pinto from the Frank A. Pinto Foundation offered pastries and other treats.

 

The North Bergen Police Department periodically holds Coffee with a Cop sessions throughout the township to allow residents to share their concerns and to get to know the officers who patrol the streets on a daily basis.
