Now that the State of New Jersey has resumed enforcement of penalties for parking ticket violations, people with outstanding parking tickets less than three years old will be receiving proposed suspension notices. These notices will come from the state and will not look like the notices the court routinely mails out.

The Municipal Court of the Township of North Bergen is holding special parking sessions to give residents an opportunity to address outstanding parking tickets. Two sessions are upcoming this quarter: on Wednesday, Nov. 20 and Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024.

Please make note of the effective suspension date on any notice sent to you and contact the court immediately to avoid a suspension.

Residents can also walk in between 4 and 7 p.m. on either of the dates above without making an appointment.
