Dunkin’ Donuts at 6903 Kennedy Boulevard in North Bergen held a grand reopening on Wednesday, Sep. 18, after being closed for close to two weeks for extensive remodeling. The store, which has served the community for 10 years under local franchisee Dhaval Patel, has now been updated with features such as a new coffee tap system, frontline donut display case, and a mobile pickup area designed to enhance customer convenience.

 

The event attracted many people eager to enjoy all of the special promotions taking place. The first 100 customers received free coffee for a year, and attendees also had the chance to spin a wheel to win Dunkin’ merchandise and swag.

 

Mayor Nicholas Sacco and Commissioners Hugo Cabrera, Allen Pascual, Claudia Rodriguez, and Anthony Vainieri, along with Assemblyman Julio Marenco, were present to cut the ribbon and enjoy some coffee.

 

The Dunkin’ location announced a $2,000 donation to the Dunkin’ Joy Foundation, which supports local children battling sickness or hunger.
