Local residents are invited to the North Bergen Free Public Library’s Health & Wellness Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sep. 7, 2024 in the Downtown Recreation Center & Library located at 1231 Kennedy Blvd.

The library is hosting the event in partnership with Hackensack Meridian Palisades Medical Center and the Sri Sathya Sai International Organization, offering attendees free information on a wide range of health issues as well as referrals and giveaways.

Attendees can get free physical checkups and medical screenings on site, including vision testing and free reading glasses, skin screenings, posture/balance info and assessments, sleep/wake assessments, breast health information, social services, mental health awareness, and much more.

Last year many hundreds of attendees met with more than 50 vendors from across the county. Sri Sathya Sai International Organization provided consultations with specialists in various fields such as internal medicine, cardiology, ophthalmology, gynecology, neurology, family medicine, gastroenterology, physical therapy, mental health therapy, cancer screening, vein study, and others.
