A heat advisory is now in effect for Wednesday through Thursday, and excessive heat watches are in effect for Friday through Sunday. Max heat index values on Wednesday will generally be in the low to mid 90s in the advisory areas, and in the mid to upper 90s on Thursday. From Friday through Sunday, max heat index values in the watch area will be in the upper 90s to around 100.
