Pool Will Be Open This Thursday & Friday to Help Beat the Heat
June 18, 2024With the temperatures heading ever higher, the North Bergen Municipal Pool will be open extra days this week so residents can cool down. The pool will be open to members and pass holders from 2 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Jun. 20 and Friday, Jun. 21.
Annual memberships are available as well as per diem passes. Full-time seasonal members can purchase passes to bring in non-member guests. Register in person from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Recreation Center, 6300 Meadowview Avenue, or from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the downtown Recreation Center & Library, 1231 Kennedy Boulevard. You can also register from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday at the pool, 2111 91st street.
Registrants must bring two proofs of residency (current gas, electric, phone, or tax bill) and a birth certificate for all children. No IDs. Payment will be accepted by credit card, check, or money order. No cash.
The pool is also open Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with the training pool opening from 10 to 11 a.m. for senior citizen members (ages 62+). Starting Friday, Jun. 28 the pool will be open every day.
