NICHOLAS SACCO was elected Mayor of North Bergen in 1991 following six years as a commissioner. He was elected to the New Jersey State Senate in 1993. Mayor Sacco helped create the North Hudson Regional Fire & Rescue and was instrumental in creating the state’s Urban Enterprise Zones. A graduate of Rutgers University, Mayor Sacco earned his master’s from Seton Hall University.
