REMINDER: Enrollment Opens July 6 for Emergency Rental Assistance
July 02, 2020The open enrollment period for the COVID-19 Emergency Rental Assistance Program (CVERAP) begins 9 a.m. on Monday, July 6 and runs until 5 p.m. on Friday, July 10.
Interested residents are strongly encouraged to apply early for this program.
CVERAP will provide temporary rental assistance to low- and moderate-income households that have had a substantial reduction in income or became unemployed due the COVID-19 pandemic. Applicants may be eligible for a maximum of up to six months of emergency rental assistance.
Pre-applications will ONLY be accepted online at https://www.waitlistcheck.com/NJ559-2809. Paper pre-applications will not be distributed or accepted.
Persons applying must meet all applicable CVERAP income and eligibility requirements. Only one pre-application per household will be accepted. All participants will be selected through an online lottery process. Completion of this pre-application does not guarantee placement in the COVID-19 ERAP.
