You name it, they had it at the First Braddock Park Flea Market on Saturday, May 5. Dozens of vendors showed up with a little bit of everything for sale: clothing, bicycles, plants, books, toys, jewelry, baseball cards, video games, photography equipment, tools … the list goes on and on.
Bargain hunters scooped up treasured antiques and collectibles, alongside imported goods from Nepal, Tibet, India, Turkey, Africa, and other faraway places. Art hunters bought original photographs and digital artwork directly from the artist. Various kinds of food were available, from classic corn and grilled meats to specialty small-batch items.
The beautiful spring weather brought out crowds of residents to enjoy the market, with tables stretching from Bergenline Avenue through the north end of the park.
