The Braddock Park Farmers Market is getting ready to close up shop for the season, with only two weekends left to run. Located near the corner of 90th Street and Bergenline Avenue, alongside the Veterans’ Memorial, the market is open Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and has plenty of free parking available.
With a varied selection of fruits, vegetables, and more for sale, the heart of the market is the fresh, locally-sourced produce, but there’s loads more on offer. Robin’s Artisan Catering has a terrific selection of 100% vegan, gluten-free delights including cookies, brownies, donuts, cakes, ice pops, and cider.
Looking for lunch? Then try the delicious breads from San Filippo di’Sicilia. Get one stuffed with sausage or pepperoni for a real treat. Or head over for some roasted corn, shish-kebab, or burgers freshly cooked on an open grill.
Looking for a gift? Aponi Soapery offers a wide selection of all-natural homemade bar soaps. Or try one of the handcrafted crocheted items from Petunia’s Petals. But hurry – the market closes on Oct. 1, 2017.
