The New Jersey Department of Transportation will be rehabilitating the Route 495 bridge over Paterson Plank Road beginning in Autumn 2017. This is a major infrastructure project that is anticipated to take more than three years to complete and will require extended periods of lane closures on Route 495.
In advance of the construction there will be local street improvements and Route 495 ramp traffic changes that may affect your travels.
Everyone is invited to attend a public meeting at the McKinley School Auditorium, 3110 Liberty Ave. in North Bergen from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017 to learn about the project and ask questions.
