Come meet bestselling author Christina Baker Kline at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017 at the North Bergen Free Public Library. Kline’s “Orphan Train” spent more than two years on the New York Times bestseller list, including five weeks at #1, and was published in 40 countries. It was the featured adult selection in the 2017 One Book North Bergen reading program.
Kline is also the author of New York Times bestseller “A Piece of the World,” about the relationship between the artist Andrew Wyeth and the subject of his best-known painting, “Christina’s World.” Kline has written five other novels – “Orphan Train Girl,” The Way Life Should Be,” “Sweet Water,” “Bird in Hand,” and “Desire Lines” – and written or edited five works of nonfiction.
