There’s a new addition to North Bergen’s Summer Fun program this year. Playtime Game Arena is making its way about the township, visiting the different program locations. Its first stop was Franklin School, where the mobile gaming facility stopped for an afternoon of interactive play on June 27, 2017.
Parks and Public Property Commissioner Hugo Cabrera welcomed Playtime to North Bergen for the first time and joined the kids in playing some of the huge variety of games available. In addition, the school’s gym and cafeteria were open, offering sports and board games to keep the kids fully occupied and engaged.
With 20 separate game stations built into the mobile vehicle, Playtime offers age-appropriate options for fun and education, with an emphasis on teamwork and respect. In the coming weeks Playtime will visit the five other Summer Fun locations in town, bringing entertainment to the nearly 700 kids enrolled in the program this year.
